| Please tell me you're just feeling tired 'cause if it's more than that I feel that I might break Out of touch out of time Please send me anything but signals that are mixed 'cause I can't read your rolling eyes Out of touch are we out of time
I'll wait until tomorrow Maybe you'll feel better then Maybe we'll be better then
I'm sorry guys...

| Oh, Oh maybe, we were made We were made for each other Ahh, is it possible for the World to look this way forever?
What a feeling in my soul Love burns brighter than sunshine Brighter than sunshine Let the rain fall, i don't care I'm yours and suddenly you're mine Suddenly you're mine and it's brighter than sunshine
I used to rely on self-medication. I guess I still do that from time to time. But I'm getting better at fighting the future. Someday you'll be fine. Yes, I'll be just fine.
I've got a crummy job It don't pay near enough To buy the things it takes To win me some of your love
Love’s on your list of things to do To bring your good luck back to you And if you think that everything’s unfair Would you care if you’re the last one standing there.

| Last week I taped a nightline that was titled 'Stupid in America'. I was intrigued by the fact that there were students in Belgium calling American students stupid. The whole show was basically bringing up possible theories about why American public schools are doing so terribly. One of which was the possibility that if parents and students got to choose what school they went to it would make the schools compete for students. I think this makes great sense! As it is, your address is what determines what type of education you get. This seems a little bit ridiculous. Kids in South Carolina were doing terribly in their public schools and had to hold a lottery to see which kids got in to the good schools. Students in Belgium have the opportunity to choose what school they go to, and are doing so much better than American students! I am not really that sure why I felt like sharing all of this but it just seems so crazy to me! I also think it is way sad that the students they showed on the program weren't that educated but not a one of them were from Texas. I'd like to see them test Chris, James, Gideon, Caryn, Mikala, Sarah, Jessie, or Sara and see how well they do! I guess they are the exception but I wish there was something we could do about it. Hmm I suppose now I will have to become the superintendent one day and hopefully fix everything

| And you ask me what I want this year And I try to make this kind and clear Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days Cuz I don't need boxes wrapped in strings And desire and love and empty things Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
Looking in your eyes Praising every moment because you're my only light Reading the stares at your passion that bears me now Shedding no little tears The silence scares us more than leaving could
For the life of me I cannot remember What made us think that we were wise and We'd never compromise For the life of me I cannot believe We'd ever die for these sins We were merely freshmen
I'll wait until tomorrow Maybe you'll feel better then Maybe we'll be better then So what's another day | | |
